On August 15th, Liberation Day, the perceived temperature is expected to rise to around 35 degrees Celsius in most parts of the country, continuing the heatwave.
There will be occasional clouds nationwide, and there is a possibility of showers from the afternoon to nighttime in the metropolitan area, inland Gangwon, Chungnam, and southern regions. The expected precipitation is 5 to 60 mm.
The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted morning low temperatures of 21 to 27 degrees Celsius and daytime highs of 30 to 35 degrees Celsius. Fine dust levels are expected to remain between 'Good' and 'Moderate' nationwide.
Tropical nights may persist mainly in western regions and coastal areas, so caution is needed for health management.
