iMBank Recruiting 80 Trainees for Data Analysis Specialist Program... Training in Daegu and Seoul
iM Bank (IM Bank, CEO Hwang Byungwoo) announced on the 13th that it is recruiting applicants for the 2nd and 3rd cohorts of the data analysis expert training program, 'iM DiGital Banker Academy,' to foster young talent in the digital era and promote the spread of digital education culture as part of its commitment to social value.
'iM DiGital Banker Academy' is a government-led advanced industry and digital sector job training program, conducted as part of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's K-Digital Training, which aims to nurture key digital professionals. 'K-Digital Training' is highly popular among young job seekers, as leading digital companies participate directly in the design and operation of the training and provide the curriculum free of charge.
The 'iM DiGital Banker Academy,' a data analysis expert training program that runs for about six months, targets unemployed youth who aspire to become data and AI professionals. The first cohort was recruited in May this year, with around 40 participants attending the six-month course in Daegu. For the 2nd and 3rd cohorts, approximately 80 participants (40 per cohort) will be selected.
The curriculum consists of a regular course for data analysis expert training, projects, and special lectures. iM Bank (IM Bank) HR representatives will provide career consulting and mentoring from current employees to support participants in their job search.
Applicants must be unemployed youth who are eligible for and possess the 'National Tomorrow Learning Card,' applying for the K-Digital Training program for the first time, regardless of their major. Applications will be accepted on the iM Bank recruitment website until the 25th.
After document screening, a coding test, and interviews, the final successful candidates will be announced in early September. Training locations are Daegu and Seoul, with 40 trainees selected for each city. Unlike the first cohort, which was limited to the Daegu office, the third cohort will also operate in the Seoul office, expanding the touchpoints with iM Bank (IM Bank) as it transitions to a commercial bank.
An iM Bank representative explained, "The trainees selected for the first cohort are currently receiving training in Python, applied statistics coding for financial data analysis, and more, and the program is receiving positive feedback for its high-quality curriculum." The representative added, "By sharing real-world experience and know-how, we aim to help participants, and those who complete the program may receive preferential treatment in iM Bank recruitment. We hope many aspiring applicants will show interest in this program."
Starting with the 2024 training program, iM Bank (IM Bank) aims to produce 120 graduates annually, nurture digital talent tailored to iM Bank (IM Bank), and provide high-quality education to unemployed youth, thereby realizing iM Bank (IM Bank)'s social value (ESG).
