This was to strengthen internal discipline to prevent any setbacks in broadcasting and communications policies due to the impeachment crisis of Chairman Lee Jin-sook.
The Korea Communications Commission decided to regularly monitor the progress of work and strengthen collaboration with related ministries such as the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Personal Information Protection Commission.
Additionally, upon the chairman’s return, they plan to promptly conduct broadcasting and communications market inspections and fact-finding investigations so that major agenda items can be addressed through a plenary meeting.
Furthermore, they intend to conduct thorough on-site visits to regulated institutions to closely check whether user protection tasks are being carried out without any gaps.
