Suwon City 'King Jeongjo and Lady Hyegyeong Hong Selection Contest'... Applications Open Until August 19

View original imageThe city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting citizens to play the roles of King Jeongjo and Lady Hyegyeong Hong in this year's joint reenactment event of King Jeongjo's royal procession from the 12th to the 19th of this month.
On the 12th, Suwon announced that it will hold the "2024 King Jeongjo and Lady Hyegyeong Hong Selection Contest" on September 6th to select one person for the role of King Jeongjo and one person for the role of Lady Hyegyeong Hong.
Eligibility requires applicants to be residents of Suwon. The King Jeongjo role is open to males aged 30 to 49 (born between 1994 and 1975), and the Lady Hyegyeong Hong role is open to females aged 52 to 60 (born between 1972 and 1964).
Applicants must submit application documents, including the application form, by the 19th of this month via visit or mail (237 Homaesil-ro, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon Cultural Center), or by email (cc440sw@daum.net). The application form must include a recommendation letter from the head of the local district or a city council member. Suwon will conduct a document screening by the 22nd of this month and hold an orientation on the 26th. The selection contest will be held on the 6th of next month at the Bitnuri Art Hall of the Suwon Cultural Center.
