On Saturday the 10th, while most regions nationwide continue to experience 'scorching heat,' scattered showers accompanied by thunder and lightning are expected in various areas.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 9th, the 10th will see occasional clouds nationwide, with showers expected from morning to evening in the Jeolla region, western inland Gyeongnam, and Jeju Island, and from afternoon to night in the Seoul metropolitan area, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and some parts of the Chungcheong region. In the Seoul metropolitan area and northern inland Gangwon, showers may continue until early morning on the 11th.

View original imageExpected rainfall from the showers is 5 to 40 mm in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, Chungbuk, Gwangju, Jeonnam, Jeonbuk, western inland Gyeongnam, and Jeju Island, and 5 to 20 mm in inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon. Thunder and lightning may occur in areas with showers, and heavy showers of around 20 mm per hour are also possible.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 31 and 35 degrees Celsius. The Korea Meteorological Administration stated that the apparent temperature will rise to around 35 degrees Celsius in most areas, making it very hot, and many places will experience tropical nights, so caution is advised for health management.
Due to smooth atmospheric dispersion, fine dust levels nationwide are expected to range from 'good' to 'moderate.'
From early morning to morning, fog with visibility less than 1 km is expected mainly in inland areas nationwide. Sea fog will occur for some time over the West Sea and South Sea, and some island areas will experience dense fog with visibility less than 200 meters.

Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters. Wave heights in the outer seas (about 200 km from the coastline) are forecasted to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea and South Sea.
