Semes Signs MOU for 'Semiconductor Manufacturing Innovation Win-Win Cooperation' with Korea Institute of Industrial Technology
Semes, a semiconductor equipment company, announced on the 9th that it has signed a win-win cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) for semiconductor manufacturing innovation with the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology. The signing ceremony took place on the 7th at the Cheonan plant, attended by about 20 officials.
This agreement aims to commercialize development projects through technology exchange between the two organizations, establishing a mutual cooperation system including ▲joint research ▲information exchange ▲personnel exchange based on Semes' semiconductor process data.

In particular, the plan is to operate by categorizing development items into urgent short-term development items and mid- to long-term development items, applying artificial intelligence (AI) manufacturing technology to fault mode prediction of advanced semiconductor equipment, parts replacement cycles, and drive systems.
