Dongjak-gu Implements Nation's First 'Sword Return Support System'
Agreement with Dongjak Police Station... Implementation After September
Dongjak-gu, Seoul (Mayor Park Il-ha) announced on the 9th that it will be the first in the nation to promote the 'Sword Surrender Support System' to prevent abnormal motive crimes that have recently occurred consecutively and to ensure the safety of residents.
This system aims to encourage sword holders to voluntarily surrender their swords and proactively prevent crimes involving swords. When sword holders surrender their swords to the Dongjak Police Station, the district office will provide support by giving Dongjak Love Gift Certificates and other benefits.
Currently, the district is discussing specific procedures and support measures with the Dongjak Police Station and plans to implement the project after next month once the detailed plans are finalized.
