Sancheong County Secures 4.5 Billion Won in Special and Adjustment Grants for 7 Projects
Result of Extensive Efforts and Continuous Communication with Central Government and Gyeongnam Province
Sancheong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 1st that it has secured 4.5 billion KRW in special grants and adjustment subsidies from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and Gyeongsangnam-do this year.
This budget acquisition is expected to greatly contribute to resolving local pending issues and promoting disaster safety projects.

View original imageFor local pending projects, the county secured 1.2 billion KRW for the construction of a lifelong learning center, 800 million KRW for the renovation of the Mureunggyo parking lot in Donguibogamchon, and 200 million KRW for the creation of a park golf course. For disaster safety projects, the county secured 600 million KRW for the installation of automatic saltwater spraying devices, 1.5 billion KRW for the connection of local water supply and replacement of old pipes in Danseong water supply district, 200 million KRW for the maintenance of protective zones for village residents, and 35 million KRW for a safe school route in children's protection zones.
These achievements are the result of the active efforts and continuous communication by Sancheong County Governor Lee Seunghwa with central government agencies and Gyeongsangnam-do.
Governor Lee Seunghwa is also making efforts to secure national funding for next year by visiting the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the National Assembly multiple times.
Governor Lee stated, "I will continue to do my best to secure as much national and provincial funding as possible for local pending issues and disaster safety, so that various projects in Sancheong-gun can proceed smoothly," and added, "I will do my utmost to make Sancheong a safe and happy place for all residents."
