Gyeonggi-do Integrated Reservation System 'Gyeonggi Gongyu Service' Nickname Contest
Gyeonggi Province is holding a contest to nickname its integrated reservation system, ‘Gyeonggi Sharing Service (share.gg.go.kr),’ until the 16th of next month.
The Gyeonggi Sharing Service is an integrated reservation system that allows convenient searching and booking of over 5,000 public resources within the province, including sports facilities, meeting rooms, household tools, public gardens, free legal consultations, and fire safety education. It attracted 700,000 visitors in the first half of this year alone.
Gyeonggi Province explained that the contest aims to widely promote the integrated reservation system, Gyeonggi Sharing Service, with a “concise nickname that reflects the system’s purpose, is friendly, and memorable,” in order to improve residents’ accessibility to information about open facilities.
Entries can be submitted on Gyeonggi Province’s official site, Gyeonggi’s Voice (vog.gg.go.kr), with up to two submissions per person until the 16th of next month.
The nicknames will be judged based on representativeness, friendliness, creativity, and suitability. Prizes include a grand prize (1 winner) of 200,000 KRW, excellence prizes (2 winners) of 100,000 KRW each, and participation prizes (100 winners) of local currency or Onnuri gift certificates and cultural gift certificates worth 5,000 KRW.
The nickname selected as the grand prize will be used alongside ‘Gyeonggi Sharing Service’ and applied in various promotional materials.
