Gyeonggi-do, Dongducheon Selected in Ministry of the Interior and Safety's Vacant House Maintenance Project Contest
Gyeonggi Province has secured 30 million KRW in national funding for vacant house demolition support.
On the 28th, Gyeonggi Province announced that three houses in Dongducheon City were selected for the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's vacant house maintenance subsidy project.

Meanwhile, the vacant house maintenance support project directly promoted by Gyeonggi Province since 2021 has supported the maintenance of a total of 262 vacant houses over the past three years. In particular, after demolition, the project encourages public use such as village rest areas and parking lots, ensuring that nearby residents also benefit from the vacant house maintenance support project. This year, 30 houses and a total of 100 abandoned vacant houses over three years until 2026 will be maintained as spaces for local residents, such as village rest areas and shared parking lots.
