Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters to Hold Third Kori Nuclear Communication Committee Meeting This Year
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters held the '2024 3rd Kori Nuclear Power Communication Committee' meeting on the 24th in Gijang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan.

View original imageAt this meeting, Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters provided the communication committee members with detailed explanations on key issues, including the current status of power plant operations, local cooperation activities, the 2025 Kori Headquarters 'KHNP Support Project' open call plan, the 2024 scholarship selection plan for the surrounding area of Kori Headquarters, and the results of the research and analysis on the contribution of Kori Headquarters’ local support funds to local tax and regional development.
First, plaques of appreciation were presented to Gijang County Council members Koo Bonyeong and Kim Wonil, whose terms as external committee members had expired, and they shared their reflections on their previous committee activities. Next, appointment certificates were delivered to newly appointed external committee members, Gijang County Council members Park Gijo, Koo Hyejin, and Heo Junseop.
The new communication committee members then shared their aspirations and plans as nuclear power communication committee members.
Finally, through an open discussion among the committee members, opinions were exchanged on mutual cooperation and harmony with the local community.
