"Beat the Summer Heat" ... Changwon Special City to Host Geonmaek Day at Masan Fish Market on the 27th
A Festive Market with Refreshing Beer and Dried Seafood
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam will hold the Geonmaek Day event at the Masan Fish Market area on the 27th to help people beat the summer heat.
Geonmaek Day is the July theme event of the Masan Fish Market Eoullim Hanmadang Market, which is held with a different theme each month starting with the opening ceremony on July 6. For this event, titled "Masan Fish Market's Cool Treat Day," a variety of activities have been prepared for citizens exhausted by the ongoing heatwave, including refreshing beer and dried seafood.
This event will take place in front of the Fish Market Customer Support Center, and Geonmaek Day will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Participants aged 19 and older who bring their ID can enjoy a free draft beer at the event booth, and those who verify their subscription to the fish market channel can receive an additional free drink.
In addition, there will be performances by guest singers, instant photo printing events, and Masan Fish Market keychain making activities, so families with children can also enjoy the festivities together.
Yoon Sunhan, head of the Local Economy Division, said, "I hope citizens who are tired of the ongoing heatwave will visit Masan Fish Market and have a great time with refreshing beer and dried seafood."
