DK Asia Completes 'Totoro Party Special Concert'
- Special Concert Held on the 20th Attracted Over 7,000 Visitors Nationwide
- Diverse Family Events Including Busking and Electronic String Performances Held Before the Concert
DK Asia presented a happy and special midsummer night memory to citizens gathered from across the country through a special concert. DK Asia announced that more than 7,000 citizens participated in the 'Totoro Party Special Concert' held on the 20th to promote the development of local culture and arts and to provide opportunities for communication and community activities among residents, successfully concluding the event.
The event began with a welcoming speech by DK Asia CEO Jo Jaeman, who sponsored the event, followed by local political and social figures including Kang Beomseok, Mayor of Seo-gu, Lee Haengsuk, Chairperson of the Seo-gu Byeong Party Committee, and Shin Choongsik, Incheon City Council member. Citizens who visited the concert hall until late enjoyed the special concert together.
As the opening event of the special concert, a pre-performance featuring busking, electronic string instruments, and a magic balloon show was held as a family-friendly event to set the mood before the main concert, which was hosted by broadcaster Ji Sangryeol. Famous singers such as Hong Jinyoung, Park Kiyoung, Kim Suchan, Park Seojin, and BB Girls appeared at the special concert, leaving the attending citizens with beautiful and dreamlike memories of a midsummer night.
Prior to this event, DK Asia has been continuously holding events to promote local culture, arts development, and community harmony, starting with the cultural event 'Saturday Saturday with Royal Park City (Totoro Party)' in May, and successfully hosting the 'Royal Park City One Festa' in June to celebrate the first anniversary of the residents moving into Geomam Station Royal Park City Prugio. They also announced plans for another Totoro Party special concert featuring famous singers on August 24.
Kim Jungmo, Chairman of DK Asia, said, “The safety of the citizens attending the concert was of utmost importance, so we took thorough measures to prepare for rain.” He added, “Although it rained and was windy at times during the event, we are truly grateful that so many people from across the country came to enjoy the special concert safely and happily.”

“Currently, DK Asia is developing a 1.23 million-pyeong (approximately 4 million square meters) project area in the Seo-gu district of Incheon in three phases to create a Resort Special City brand town,” he said. “Royal Park City at Wanggil Station, where this event was held, is the first pilot complex of the Resort Special City and is being developed into a large-scale space for the advancement of local culture and arts through large-scale cultural events such as the special concert.”
