Jeongeup-si Supports Purchase Costs of Tax-Exempt Agricultural Fuel... Applications Open Until the 14th of Next Month
Jeongeup City in Jeollabuk-do will provide partial support for the purchase cost of agricultural duty-free fuel bought over four months from March to June.
According to the city on the 23rd, this project was promoted to alleviate the financial burden on farmers caused by the sharp rise in international oil prices.
The support targets are farmers or agricultural corporations residing in Jeongeup who have received duty-free fuel cards from Nonghyup, with a maximum support of 10,000 liters combining diesel, gasoline, kerosene, and others.
The support amount will vary by fuel type, ranging from 50 to 200 KRW per liter based on the increase in prices for each fuel type.
Those wishing to apply for support should submit their applications to the administrative welfare centers in their respective eup, myeon, or dong by the 14th of next month.
A city official stated, “We will actively promote this to farms to encourage participation and ensure no one misses out on subsidies due to failure to apply.”
