Suwon Travel Video Contest 'Short-Form Contest' Opens... Entries Accepted Until September 2

Suwon City is hosting the Suwon Travel Video Contest 'Short-form Contest'.

The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province is holding the Suwon Travel Video Contest ‘Short-form Contest’ until September 2.

On the 22nd, Suwon announced that the short-form (short-length video content) contest will be held under the theme ‘My Own Suwon Travel Story,’ divided into five categories: ▲foreign tourism ▲night tourism ▲hidden tourist spots ▲sports tourism ▲my own travel course.

Applicants must shoot short-form videos related to the five themes and upload them to their personal SNS (Instagram, YouTube) public accounts with the required hashtags (#SuwonTravel #SuwonShortFormContest #SUWON #KOREATRAVEL), then submit the link address.

The video should be between 20 seconds and 1 minute in length (vertical format). The file format must be one of AVI, WMV, MP4, or MPG. The resolution should be at least 1080*1920. Suwon will announce the winners on September 9 after judging. The grand prize (1 person) will receive a mayoral citation and a prize of 2 million KRW, and the excellence award (1 person) will receive a mayoral citation and a prize of 1 million KRW.

A Suwon city official said, "Through this short-form contest involving citizens and tourists, we aim to promote Suwon’s diverse tourism resources and highlight attractive locations," adding, "Please submit new, fun, and diverse tourism short-form content."
