Gyeonggi-do and Jeonnam Promote 'Youth Exchange Camp' 활성화

View original imageGyeonggi Province is conducting the "2024 Gyeonggi Province-Jeollanam-do Youth Exchange Camp" to foster talent through regional win-win cooperation. The two regions signed a win-win cooperation agreement in 2016 and have been promoting youth exchanges since 2017.
This year, from July 23 to 25, 60 youths from both regions will visit sites around Jeollanam-do, including the Myeongnyang Battle Memorial (Jindo Tower) and Damyang Juknokwon, to engage in historical and cultural exploration as well as group participation activities.
Additionally, from August 5 to 9, in accordance with the "Gyeonggi Province-Jeollabuk-do Win-Win Development Agreement" signed last year, youths from both regions will participate in an exchange camp to experience each other's cultures and strengthen their friendship.
Earlier, from May 17 to 19, Gyeonggi Province invited 30 youths from Jeonnam to engage in exchange activities such as glamping experiences at the Gyeonggi Youth Camping Site and K-pop dance activities.

Ko Young-mi, Director of Youth Affairs in Gyeonggi Province, stated, "Through this youth exchange camp, we hope that young people will establish a proper awareness of win-win cooperation and improve their communication skills beyond regional boundaries, enabling them to grow further."
