Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly Leadership 'Outline'... Chair Kim Jin-gyeong, Vice Chairs Jeong Yoon-gyeong and Kim Gyu-chang
The leadership lineup of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council has been revealed.
The People Power Party in the Provincial Council elected Kim Gyu-chang (Yeoju 2), a three-term member, as the candidate for the second half vice-chairman on the 18th. Earlier, the Democratic Party had confirmed Kim Jin-kyung (Siheung 3), a four-term member, as the candidate for chairman, and Jeong Yoon-kyung (Gunpo 1), a three-term member, as the candidate for vice-chairman on the 13th of last month.
Previously, on the 15th, the two parties agreed that the chairman would be from the Democratic Party, the two vice-chairmen would be one each from the Democratic Party and the People Power Party, and the 16 standing committee and special committee chairpersons would be divided equally with 8 each. The Provincial Council will hold an extraordinary plenary session on the 19th to finalize the chairman and the two vice-chairmen.
The two parties have also completed the selection of candidates for standing committee chairpersons.

The People Power Party also finalized ▲ Steering Committee Chairperson Yang Woo-sik (Proportional) ▲ Safety and Administration Committee Chairperson Lim Sang-o (Dongducheon 2) ▲ Agriculture and Maritime Committee Chairperson Bang Seong-hwan (Seongnam 5) ▲ Construction and Transportation Committee Chairperson Heo Won (Icheon 2) ▲ Urban Environment Committee Chairperson Baek Hyeon-jong (Guri 1) ▲ Future Science Cooperation Committee Chairperson Lee Je-young (Seongnam 8) ▲ Education Administration Committee Chairperson Lee Ae-hyeong (Suwon 10) ▲ Gyeonggi Provincial Budget and Accounts Special Committee Chairperson Kim Seong-su (Hanam 2).
