It is Japan's representative SME organization, with approximately 27,000 SME cooperatives and associations and about 2.24 million SMEs under its membership.
Kim Ki-moon, Chairman of Kbiz, stated, “As the global trade environment is rapidly changing due to supply chain restructuring, there is a need for a platform where Korea’s ICT convergence technologies and Japan’s strengths in materials, parts, and equipment can be exchanged and policy issues discussed.” He added, “To ensure sustainable Korea-Japan SME economic cooperation, we will create a private-sector ‘shuttle economic exchange’ cooperation model that allows SMEs to visit each other through the annual cross-hosting of policy forums between Korea and Japan organizations.”
