Osan-si Supports Revitalization of Alleyway Commercial Community
Up to 23 Million Won for 4 to 5 Merchant Associations
Osan City in Gyeonggi Province is implementing the 'Alleyway Commercial District Revitalization Support Project' targeting 'Alleyway Commercial District Communities.'
This project aims to support small-scale alleyway commercial districts and small business owners, who have been neglected in existing policies unlike traditional markets. The purpose is to discover distinctive alleyway commercial districts and create a community foundation for small business owners through systematic development.
The target 'Alleyway Commercial District Communities' are economic communities organized by 20 or more stores registered as non-profit corporations. The city evaluates the eligibility of business plans based on criteria such as ▲business plan suitability ▲appropriateness ▲creativity ▲appropriateness of budget ▲expected effects ▲willingness to implement the project, and provides funding accordingly.
The total support budget is about 90 million KRW, and 4 to 5 communities will be selected to receive up to 23 million KRW each. Interested organizations should submit their application documents, including the business plan, to the Osan City Hall Regional Economy Division by the 19th.
