Sookmyung Women's University Hosts 'MS Information Security Talent Training Program'
Operation of Various Specialized Programs
Sookmyung Women's University announced on the 6th that it held the 2024 Information Security Talent Training Course in collaboration with Microsoft (MS).

A total of 61 students participated in this training course, including 30 Sookmyung Women's University students interested in the IT field and 31 students from other universities. They experienced security tasks used in companies and learned how to detect and respond to attacks from both external and internal sources. In the hands-on practice using MS's cloud platform 'Azure,' they gained experience in effectively building and operating security systems in a cloud environment.
This is the second time Sookmyung Women's University has operated an information security talent training course with MS as part of the University Job Plus Center project. The course will be offered again next year, and various specialized programs such as semiconductor processes and digital literacy will be developed in the future.

Choi Cheol, head of the University Job Plus Center at Sookmyung Women's University, said, "As the importance of ICT continues to grow, information security issues are becoming more prominent," adding, "We hope this training has been a practical help for students in setting their career paths and enhancing their capabilities."
