Hyundai Glovis Provides Customized Safety Helmets for Truck Drivers
Lightweight and Compact Safety Helmet Development Starting in 2022
Hyundai Glovis has developed and provided customized safety helmets for truck drivers.
Hyundai Glovis announced on the 5th that it has supplied this equipment to drivers of car carrier trucks.
This safety helmet has been developed in-house by Hyundai Glovis since 2022. Weighing 250g, it reduces volume by 16% and weight by 14% compared to conventional industrial safety helmets. For truck drivers, wearing protective gear such as safety helmets is essential because there is a risk of items falling on their heads or the drivers themselves falling under the vehicle during the loading and unloading process.
Previously, on the 26th and 27th of last month, safety campaigns were conducted at offices in Ulsan, Gwangju, Asan and Seosan in Chungnam, and a total of 1,500 safety helmets were distributed to truck drivers. In the future, these helmets will be made available for purchase by truck drivers in other sectors as well.
