Gyeonggi-do to Reassess '2030 Comprehensive Housing Plan'... Service Project to Proceed Until June Next Year
Gyeonggi Province will conduct a review service to supplement the '2030 Gyeonggi Province Comprehensive Housing Plan,' which contains mid- to long-term housing policies.
The review service, which will be conducted over one year until June next year, will carry out a housing condition survey on a sample of 20,000 households in the province, focusing on household characteristics, housing and residential environment, and housing cost burden, and then establish detailed tasks such as the vision and basic direction of Gyeonggi Province's housing policy.
In particular, it will check the achievements of the 2018?2023 Comprehensive Housing Plan and review issues such as youth housing stability, the increase of single-person households and the growing demand for housing welfare due to aging, changes in the residential environment caused by climate change, and the necessity of a dedicated organization for apartment management, thereby presenting the direction for the province's housing policy for the next six years (2025?2030).
Gyeonggi Province established the '2030 Gyeonggi Province Comprehensive Housing Plan,' which is formulated every 10 years according to the 2018 Housing Basic Act and Housing Basic Ordinance.
