Guro-gu Conducts Emergency Drill for Civil Service Office
Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) conducted a mock drill at the Civil Service Passport Office at 8 a.m. on the 3rd to prepare for emergency situations in the civil service office.
The "Mock Drill for Emergency Situations in the Civil Service Office" is held once each in the first and second half of the year to enhance the response capability to unexpected situations such as verbal abuse and assault that may occur during civil service interactions, aiming to create a safe working environment in the civil service office.
On this day, the mock drill was conducted jointly with the Guro Police Station, assuming a sudden verbal abuse and assault situation by a civil service client during the issuance of civil service documents.
The emergency response team, composed of the reporting team, evacuation team, security team, and relief team, practiced in this assumed situation ▲requesting to stop verbal abuse ▲guiding recording and police notification ▲calling the emergency bell and restraining the client ▲protecting the affected public officials and evacuating visiting clients ▲subduing the client and handing them over to the police, preparing the mock drill to enable quick response in real situations.
