Kakao Entertainment to Serialize Jeon Min-hee's 'Children of the Rune: Winterer' as Webtoon
Kakao Entertainment announced on the 1st that it will present the first part of Jeon Min-hee's 'Children of the Rune' series, 'Children of the Rune: Winterer,' as a webtoon.
There is expected to be great interest in the news of the first webtoon adaptation of Children of the Rune, a fantasy novel written by Jeon Min-hee over 23 years in Korea. Children of the Rune tells the story of characters struggling to carve out their own lives during a period of great chaos following the fall of a kingdom. It has sold over 3 million copies in Korea, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, and other countries, and is also well-known as the original work for the game 'TalesWeaver.'
Starting with Part 1, 'Winterer,' in 2001, followed by Part 2, 'Demonic,' and Part 3, 'Blooded,' the series began its first serialization on KakaoPage in 2018.
