Ulsan Ulju County Chief Lee Soongeol Marks 2nd Anniversary of 8th Civil Election Term

Public Officials Hold Resolution Rally for KTX-Eum Stop at Namchang Station

On the 1st, Ulsan Ulju County held a ceremony at the county office's Alps Hall to mark the 2nd anniversary of the inauguration of County Governor Lee Soongul under the 8th popularly elected administration, with about 400 employees in attendance.

On the 1st, Ulsan Ulju County held a 2nd anniversary ceremony for Lee Sungul, the Ulju County Governor of the 8th local government, at the County Office Alps Hall with about 400 employees in attendance.

This event, held together with the July regular meeting, began with a congratulatory performance and continued with an awards ceremony for meritorious individuals and a video presentation highlighting the achievements of the county administration over the past two years.

In particular, on this day, Ulju County held a resolution rally for the 'KTX-Eum Namchang Station Stop' and launched a full-scale effort to secure the stop of KTX-Eum at Namchang Station.

At the resolution rally, which began with the reading of the resolution by the staff representative, County Governor Lee Soongul and all employees pledged to mobilize all their capabilities to actively participate in signature campaigns and attraction activities, and to make every effort to secure the stop of KTX-Eum at Namchang Station.

County Governor Lee Soongul stated, "The third year of my term is a time to open a new future for Ulju and to reap substantial results," and expressed his determination by saying, "We will make every effort to secure the stop of KTX-Eum at Namchang Station, complete the Yeongnam Alps cable car development project, the Ulju County Hospital, and other major pending projects by focusing our administrative capacity."

Since taking office in July 2022 as the 8th popularly elected county governor, Lee Soongul has been actively pursuing major pledges such as the establishment of the Ulju County Hospital, the Yeongnam Alps cable car development project, and the attraction of a KTX station area urban convergence special zone, under the goal of 'Happy Ulju That Permeates My Life.'
