On the 30th, Governor Kim visited the Gyeonggi Province Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters to receive a report on the heavy rain situation. He then posted on his social media, stating, "A heavy rain advisory was issued for up to 17 cities and counties in Gyeonggi Province, but all have now been lifted."
He added, "I checked the heavy rain situation at the disaster situation room this morning" and "Fortunately, there has been no significant damage so far."
He also mentioned, "I made three requests," explaining, "(The three requests are) to take preemptive measures through swift decision-making, to engage in proactive response and recovery, and to establish a constant communication system to handle disaster-related situations."
