Silla University Recruiting Participants for National University Student Petconomy Startup Idea Competition

Shilla University (President Heo Namsik) I-URP Project Group is recruiting participants for the '2024 National University Student Petconomy Startup Idea Competition'.
The Shilla University Companion Animal Industry Specialized I-URP Project Group will be recruiting participants for the competition from university students nationwide from the 28th to July 26th, with the aim of discovering innovative and challenging startup ideas and spreading a youth startup culture.
This competition will be conducted in two stages: a preliminary round with document screening, including idea proposals, for individuals and teams of 2 to 5 university students, and a final round with presentations.
Among the final 10 teams that advance to the finals, 5 teams will be selected and awarded the Grand Prize (President of Shilla University Award), Excellence Prize (President of Busan Technopark Award), Outstanding Prize (ONHEAL Award), and Special Prize (I-URP Project Group Leader Award).

Bae Ilkwon, Head of the Shilla University I-URP Project Group, said, "We are holding this competition to promote the development of the companion animal industry and to vitalize youth startups. Based on the creative ideas and passion of university students nationwide, we plan to discover new business models," adding, "Through this competition, we will strengthen the entrepreneurial capabilities of talented individuals and support them to grow as future entrepreneurs."
