Gokseong Ambassador Jin Simon Holds 'Gunmin Happiness Dream Concert'

‘Kkokgalcon (Must-Attend Concert)’, Jinsimon, Gwak Changseon, Romina Participate

Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will hold the Citizens' Happiness Dream Concert "Kkokgalcon (A Must-Go Concert)" touring 11 eup and myeon from the 17th to the 21st.

Kkokgalcon features the county's public relations ambassador Jin Simon, along with Green Zone member Kwak Chang-seon and German-born trot singer Romina.

This event was organized to gift happy moments to the citizens and provide opportunities to enjoy cultural life in daily life by having singers visit eup and myeon village halls and cultural centers to perform for the elderly in Gokseong who usually find it difficult to visit performance venues and enjoy cultural activities.

On the first day, the 17th, performances were held in three eup and myeon, including the multipurpose experience center in Angae Village, Godal-myeon, receiving enthusiastic responses from village residents despite the hot weather.

A citizen who watched the performance said, "It feels like a dream that a singer I only saw on TV came to our village," and added, "It was an unforgettable happy time."

Meanwhile, Jin Simon, the county's public relations ambassador, said, "I have always wanted to do something helpful for Gokseong while working as its ambassador, and I am proud to have been able to create such an opportunity," adding, "Seeing the elderly smile and dance to my songs makes me feel happier than ever."
