Muan-gun, County Governor Kim San Heads to National Assembly to Secure Government Budget
Relay Meetings with National Assembly Members and Chair of the Public Administration Committee, Broad Activities Aligned with the Opening of the National Assembly
Kim San, the governor of Muan County, actively sought to secure national funding for major local projects for the next year by visiting the National Assembly on the 17th.
According to the county on the 18th, this visit to the National Assembly was conducted to propose measures ensuring the smooth progress of Muan County’s key projects amid the Ministry of Economy and Finance’s review of the national budget for the next year.

View original imageGovernor Kim San met with Seo Sam-seok, the local district lawmaker, along with Shin Jeong-hoon, chairman of the Administrative Safety Committee, and lawmakers Kim Won-i and Seo Mi-hwa to explain Muan County’s major projects and request support for budget allocation.
The key projects proposed that day included the Cheongsu 1 Natural Disaster Risk Improvement District Maintenance Project, the construction of a senior-friendly national sports center in Muan County, the Changpo Lake non-point source pollution reduction project, the regional specialized rental smart farm development project, and the urban regeneration recognition project in Illo-eup.
Muan County plans to develop strategies aligned with government policies and visit central government ministries and the National Assembly to promote regional development until the national budget is finalized.
Governor Kim San stated, “Despite the government’s fiscal austerity policy, we will do our best to secure budgets for regional development,” adding, “We will make every effort to ensure that projects determining Muan County’s future proceed without delay.”
Going forward, Muan County plans to strengthen cooperation with the government and the National Assembly centered on Governor Kim San to lead regional development.
