National Gwangju Science Museum Operates 'Visiting Science Museum' Program
The National Gwangju Science Museum and the National Gwangju Science Museum Supporters Association are operating the 'Visiting Science Museum' program.
The Visiting Science Museum is a project that provides various science culture experience services to students and residents in underserved areas. It is operated based on the sponsorship funds from the National Gwangju Science Museum Supporters Association. Detailed programs include ▲ Viewing scientific exhibits in a mobile science vehicle ▲ Astronomical observation ▲ Making glass marble kaleidoscopes ▲ Drawing a 3D world with pens, and other fascinating and fun science experiences.
This year, over a period of five months, the program will be conducted for about 320 elementary school students in Jeonnam and Jeonbuk provinces as well as island and remote areas. The first session started on the 12th at Soan Elementary School in Wando, and the second session will be held on the 19th at Nohwa Central Elementary School in Wando.

A representative from the Gwangju Science Museum emphasized, “We will continue to work closely with the Supporters Association to introduce various science content to citizens living in science culture underserved areas and strive to contribute to the popularization of science culture.”
