Customized Support for Chungnam Province's Representative Model Development
Chungnam Province announced on the 12th that Yesan New Materials General Industrial Complex has been designated as a specialized cluster for the root industry.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy has been designating specialized clusters for the promotion of the root industry through public contests since 2013.
The Yesan New Materials General Industrial Complex, designated this time as a specialized cluster for the root industry, covers an area of 480,000㎡ and currently houses 22 companies. It is the third specialized cluster in Chungnam, following Asan and Seosan.
The root industry is an industry that manufactures process technologies and equipment used throughout the manufacturing sector, supporting the technological capabilities of major domestic industries and future new industries.
The province plans to intensively nurture the cluster through innovative plans and provide customized support to establish it as a representative model.
