Goheung-gun to Provide 'Youth Military Administration Participation Activity Points'

Up to 400,000 KRW per Year Support for Each Youth Participating in Military Administration

Gohung-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gong Young-min) announced that starting in June, it will provide ‘Youth Participation in County Administration Activity Points’ to young people actively participating in county administration.

The ‘Gohung Youth Participation in County Administration Activity Points’ is a newly launched project this year aimed at encouraging youth participation in county administration and discovering youth policies. Points of up to 400,000 KRW per person annually will be awarded based on participation performance.

To provide various information for youth, the county has created a new youth menu on the Gohung County Office website, allowing for guidance and promotion regarding the Youth Center, youth policies, education and events, youth spaces, and support for youth participation activity points in county administration.

To participate in the ‘Youth Participation in County Administration Activity Points’ project, visit the Gohung County Office website (main site) ⇒ Gohung County sector-specific services (Education/Jobs/Youth) ⇒ Youth Participation in County Administration Activity Points Support ⇒ after mobile phone identity verification, register a post.

Point payment categories include policy proposals, county administration promotion, festivals, lectures, attendance at education sessions, visits to tourist attractions, and volunteer activities. Points are awarded differentially depending on adoption and participation frequency, and points are paid quarterly in Gohung Love Gift Certificates.

A county official stated, “The Youth Participation in County Administration Activity Points project was established to encourage young people to take an interest in county administration and to discover practical youth policies to make Gohung a better place for youth to live. We hope many young people in the region will participate.” He added, “We will continue to develop various policies for youth and provide customized services for them.”
