Since declaring ethical management in 2015, Orion Group has carried out various social contribution activities to fulfill its corporate social responsibility. This year as well, through product sponsorships and other means, the group conducted the "Warm Jeong (情) Sharing" campaign to support vulnerable children and youth, and the "Blue Jeong (情) Sharing" campaign, a group-level global plogging initiative contributing to local communities and environmental protection.
In addition, Orion has continuously provided support during disaster situations, such as donating emergency relief supplies when typhoon-related flood damage occurs. CEO Lee was recognized for his contributions to spreading a culture of sharing, including personally handcrafting limited-edition Strawberry Whale Snacks, which were originally sold commercially, to donate to children with illnesses. He also received the Beautiful Korean Award, which is given to only 10 recipients among the Korea Volunteer Award winners, adding further significance to the honor.
