S-1's 'Unmanned Store Security Solution' Gains Attention... Customized Prevention Based on Damage Analysis
'Credit Card Access Leader' Preventing Teen Crime through Entry Restrictions
'Intelligent CCTV' Automatically Detecting Vandalism and Disturbances with AI
As crimes targeting unmanned stores are rapidly increasing, a specialized security solution that analyzes crime victim cases for preventive measures has been introduced, drawing attention.
On the 7th, S-1 announced that it provides an AI-equipped "Intelligent CCTV" to prevent property damage and disturbances by installing a "credit card access reader" as a specialized solution for unmanned stores to restrict access by teenagers. According to the "Unmanned Store Crime Victim Analysis Results" from the S-1 Crime Prevention Research Institute, 46% of unmanned store criminals are teenagers, and 33% of all crimes occur on weekends, with 67% concentrated during late-night hours.
To prevent crimes committed by teenagers, who account for nearly half of the victims, S-1 installed card readers at unmanned store entrances, requiring credit card authentication for entry. Normally, this strengthens identity verification through credit cards, and during late-night hours, it naturally restricts access to teenagers without credit cards.
They also provide intelligent CCTVs that automatically detect property damage and disturbances. The intelligent CCTV automatically detects abnormal behavior through AI behavior analysis, immediately sounds an alarm, and simultaneously broadcasts a warning inside the store from the S-1 integrated control center to prevent crimes.
To enable safe store operation during weekends and late nights, a 24/7 dispatch service is also provided. Sensors are installed on payment kiosks, which are major theft targets, and if a theft attempt occurs, security personnel promptly dispatch to prevent the crime. Store owners can access the store’s CCTV via smartphone to monitor the situation anytime. It is also possible to remotely control lighting or lock and unlock doors through the app.
There is also a notification service for accident prevention. In addition to fire alarms, store owners are notified via smartphone in case of power outages. This helps prevent damage to products in stores selling refrigerated and frozen goods caused by power outages. S-1 also supports compensation for theft and damage incidents. Victims of accidents such as fires can also receive relief.
