Government Employees Pension Service, 'Clean Jeju Sea Campaign'
The Government Employees Pension Service announced on the 31st that it will participate in the 'Bomok Jari-dom Festival' from today until the 1st of next month to carry out an environmental campaign.
This event is held in celebration of Sea Day on the 31st as part of the Service's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) activities aimed at creating a clean Jeju sea. Various events were also prepared to enhance rapport with local residents.
The Service operated an ESG promotion booth where participants could experience making coasters from sea waste by repurposing discarded glass into household items, and held events such as quizzes related to marine environmental protection.
A Service official said, "It was a meaningful opportunity to promote various ESG activities by meeting local residents on site," adding, "Going forward, the Service plans to expand various events to solve community issues and promote coexistence."
