Recently, verbal abuse and assault by malicious complainants in the civil service office have sharply increased, putting the safety of public officials at a critical level.
Gongju City, in cooperation with the Tancheon Iin Police Substation of Gongju Police Station, conducted a joint simulation training at the Iin-myeon Administrative Welfare Center to protect employees and prevent secondary damage in emergency situations that may occur during work.
The training assumed a situation involving a special complainant and included △ inducing the complainant to calm down △ prior notice followed by video recording of the scene △ activation of the emergency bell (connected to the police) △ protection of the affected public officials and visiting complainants △ handing over to the police.
