Recently, at the main auditorium of the university's Biomedical Science Building 2, Shilla University held the Wing Awarding Ceremony and Coming-of-Age Day event for freshmen, attended by professors and current students of the Department of Aviation Service.
The Wing Awarding Ceremony of the Department of Aviation Service is an event where freshmen pledge their determination to become competent future flight attendants and professional service personnel, so they can pursue their dreams on the global stage.
The ceremony proceeded in the following order: ▲ Oath by the freshmen of the class of '24 ▲ Seniors awarding wings to juniors ▲ Presentation of flower bouquets. In particular, the moment when seniors personally pinned the wing badges on their juniors and offered words of encouragement reportedly instilled confidence and pride in the freshmen, according to university officials.
Student Kim Byungjun said, "Through the Wing Awarding Ceremony, I felt a sense of responsibility and thought I should work even harder for my future," and added, "Like the seniors who graduated before me, I will become a flight attendant and bring honor to the department."
