Icheon-si and KB Kookmin Card Join Hands to Revitalize Local Tourism Based on Data
On the 22nd, Icheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it signed a "Business Agreement for Data-Driven Regional Tourism Revitalization" with KB Kookmin Card on the 21st.

View original imageThrough this business agreement, Icheon City and KB Kookmin Card will utilize Kookmin Card's consumption and mobility data to analyze the local economy and explore ways to revitalize commercial districts, while mutually cooperating to develop cultural tourism policies based on big data.
To this end, KB Kookmin Card plans to analyze the characteristics of local tourists using card consumption and mobility data and propose various cultural tourism revitalization measures specialized for local festivals such as the Icheon Ceramic Festival.
Previously, from last month to this month, the city conducted promotional activities by linking Icheon City festivals with public-private tourism network partner organizations based on KB Kookmin Card's data system.
