On the 12th (local time), at the Upper Montclair Country Club (par 72, 6,636 yards) in Clifton, New Jersey, USA, Korda finished the final round of the LPGA Tour Cognizant Founders Cup (total prize money $3 million) with a score of 1 over par, tied for 7th place (7 under par 281). This marks her sixth top-10 finish of the season.
Having taken a two-week break recently, Korda's overall game rhythm was off. Her average drive distance was only 258 yards that day. She missed the fairway and greens five times each, and her putting count soared to 33. On the final day, she recorded just one birdie and two bogeys. She was satisfied to be on par with Nancy Lopez (USA) in 1978 and Annika Sorenstam (Sweden) in 2005, who both achieved five consecutive wins.

Starting one stroke behind in second place, she played perfectly with six birdies and no bogeys. This is her second career win, about a year after winning the Mizuho Americas Open last June, with a winner's prize of $450,000 (approximately 600 million KRW). Madeleine Saxstrom (Sweden), who was the leader the previous day, reduced her score by three strokes but fell to second place (22 under par 266).
