The Daejeon Waterworks Headquarters has been promoting measures such as double doors, installation of fine insect screens, and improvement of water purification process operation methods to prevent the inflow of small organisms.
In addition, they are thoroughly managing hygiene by conducting continuous monitoring for larvae in each water purification process and operating a detailed epidemiological investigation team.
This year, to fundamentally block the inflow of foreign substances into tap water, they are promoting a small organism response system construction project by investing 840 million KRW to install multiple filtration screens at the inflow section of the water storage facilities.
