Naju-si Advances Large Waste Disposal System Enhancement
Naju City in Jeollanam-do is promoting the advancement of its large waste disposal system.
According to the city on the 9th, large waste refers to appliances, furniture, and various household items that are difficult to put into volume-based waste bags among household waste.
Through this computer system upgrade, the city has newly added features such as map display of collection locations and photo registration of disposal items.
It is expected to improve user convenience and enable faster and more accurate collection of large waste.
The "Free Collection of Infant Items" service, which started in February, has also been successfully established.
This system processes infant items such as strollers free of charge to alleviate the economic burden on families raising children.
Usage has steadily increased with 381 cases in February, the first month of implementation, 405 cases in March during the moving season, and 303 cases in April.
To dispose of large waste, residents can visit the nearest eup/myeon/dong administrative welfare center or apply through the "Naju City Large Waste Online Application" website.
