Park Kwan-ho, chairman of Wemade, stated during the Q1 earnings conference call on the 8th, "The China business has continuously faced risks and it seems unlikely to change going forward."
Chairman Park said, "The China business strategy has been in place for a long time, and the sales proportion has been significant for a considerable period, but the Chinese market involves many policy risks, and there have been many cases where we succeeded with games but could not receive payments on time." He added, "Due to frequent changes in the Chinese government's situation, it is difficult to say when the Mir M license will be granted."
