Jongno-gu to Host First 'Classical Concert' on the Sewoon Sangga Elevated Walkway on the 10th
"Sunlit Sewoon Classic" on the second Friday afternoon from May to July
From this month until July this year, if you visit Sewoon Arcade during lunchtime on the second Friday of each month, you can enjoy a pleasant experience of walking along the sunlit promenade and listening to classical music performances.
The first performance of "Sunlit Sewoon Classic," which will be held on the Sewoon Arcade skywalk on the 10th, features familiar pieces such as Elgar's "Salut d'Amour," Faur?'s "Sicilienne," Schumann's "Piano Quartet, 3rd movement," as well as popular songs like Kim Kwang-seok's "Around Thirty" and the OST from Howl's Moving Castle.
The performance will last for 35 minutes, from 12:15 PM to 12:50 PM. In May and on June 14, the concerts will take place on the skywalk, while the July 12 performance will be held at Sewoon Plaza. Jongno-gu expects that the "Sunlit Sewoon Classic" performances will attract citizens to Sewoon Arcade and contribute to revitalizing the local economy.
