Full Lift of Land Transaction Permission Zone in Gyeyang-gu, Incheon After 5 Years
The land transaction permit zone in the Gyeyang-gu area of Incheon will be fully lifted after more than five years.
On the 29th, Incheon City announced that 0.72㎢ (592 parcels) of land in Gyulhyeon, Dongyang, and Sangya-dong in Gyeyang-gu will be removed from the land transaction permit zone starting from the 13th of next month.
This marks five years since the area was designated as a land transaction permit zone in May 2019. Once the permit zone is lifted, land transactions can be conducted without the district office chief's approval, and the obligation to use the land, such as actual cultivation, for the 10 parcels that had previously received approval will also be eliminated.
As a result, the remaining land transaction permit zones in Incheon now total 20.06㎢, limited to two areas: the Geomam Station area (4,113 parcels) and the Guwol 2 Public Housing District (16,383 parcels).
An official from Incheon City stated, "With the lifting of the land transaction permit zone in the Daejang District of Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, the nearby Gyeyang-gu area was also released," adding, "Now, there are no land transaction permit zones left in Gyeyang-gu."
