'Kumho Driving Experience Day' Hosted with European Dealers Invited
President Jeong Il-taek and Key Executives Promote Directly in Europe
Kumho Tire held an event in Europe where local dealers could experience its products firsthand. Executives from the CEO to key sales and research and development departments attended to showcase the company's technological capabilities.
On the 29th, Kumho Tire announced that it had held the 'Kumho Driving Experience Day' on the 21st in Milan, Italy.
The event invited European dealers to the Varano Circuit in Milan, Italy, to experience Kumho Tire products. Major executives including Jeong Il-taek, CEO of Kumho Tire; Lim Seung-bin, Vice President of Sales; Lee Kang-seung, Executive Director of the European Headquarters; Jo Man-sik, Executive Director of the R&D Headquarters; and Yoon Jang-hyuk, Managing Director of G. Marketing, attended in large numbers.
The purpose was to communicate closely with European dealers and strengthen collaboration. Kumho Tire's sales in the European market have steadily grown by more than 20% annually over the past five years. In particular, last year saw an increase of about 44% compared to the previous year.
This sales growth is attributed to an effective research and development (R&D) strategy tailored to the characteristics of the European market. Recently, Kumho Tire achieved excellent results in tire performance tests conducted by the globally respected German automotive magazines ADAC and AutoBild.
