Emart24 Supports Seoul's Mobile Workers with 'Mobile Coupons'
Provided 10,000 KRW Three Times a Year on a First-Come, First-Served Basis
Emart24 announced on the 29th that it will provide rest support for mobile workers in Seoul.
Emart24 will provide mobile vouchers worth 10,000 KRW that can be used at 900 Emart24 stores within Seoul to mobile workers in the city. The mobile coupons will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis to 4,000 mobile workers active in Seoul who have completed safety training at the Seoul Labor Rights Center and Baemin Rider School operated by Elegant Youths, starting from the 20th of next month.

View original imageThis support project will undergo a pilot operation period from May to June, and will be conducted during the heatwave period (July to August) and the cold wave period (November to December). Mobile workers in Seoul can receive Emart24 mobile coupons up to three times?once during each operational period: the pilot operation, heatwave, and cold wave periods. These coupons can be used until February 28, 2025, at the latest.
Emart24 expects that this support project will help mobile workers take breaks by stopping by nearby convenience stores to enjoy drinks or snacks during their work.
To this end, Emart24, the Seoul Labor Rights Center, and Elegant Youths held a “Joint Agreement Ceremony for Convenience Store Companion Rest Areas for Mobile Workers” at Seoul City Hall on the 25th, agreeing to mutually cooperate in rest support activities to protect the safety and health of mobile workers.
