Hoseo University Wins Best Presentation Paper Award at the Construction Circular Resources Society Conference
Successful Quantitative Verification of Tire Particulate Matter Reduction Technology
Professor Kim Hyuk-jung from the Department of Disaster Safety Systems at Hoseo University and Taewoo Kang, a doctoral student in the Department of Energy, Climate, and Environmental Convergence Technology, received the 'Outstanding Presentation Award' at the 2024 Spring Academic Conference of the Korean Society of Construction Circular Resources.
The awarded paper, titled "A Study on the Changes in Concentrations of Tire and Road Wear Particles in Roadside Environments Due to Temperature Differences," analyzed the concentration of fine dust particles generated from tire and road pavement wear on roads, producing experimental results that quantitatively verified the effects before and after the application of fine dust reduction technologies.
