Samsung Electronics Fully Operates Wind-Free Air Conditioner Production Line Ahead of Summer
Samsung Electronics announced on the 25th that it will operate the production line for its Wind-Free air conditioners at full capacity ahead of the upcoming summer to strengthen its presence in the domestic air conditioner market.
Samsung Electronics' Wind-Free air conditioner, first introduced worldwide in 2016, has surpassed cumulative sales of 10 million units. Samsung also launched its 2024 model earlier this February.

The 2024 'Bespoke Wind-Free Air Conditioner Gallery' stand model has received energy efficiency ratings of 1 to 2 for all models. By selecting the AI saving mode in SmartThings, energy consumption can be reduced by up to 30%. With Bixby integration, various functions can be easily operated via voice commands without a remote control. Simple voice controls such as turning the air conditioner on or off and adjusting the temperature are supported directly by the device without Wi-Fi. Additionally, it features a function that detects indoor movement to operate the air conditioner automatically. If no movement is detected, it switches to power-saving mode after a certain period or turns off the power and dries the internal moisture of the device.
