KCCI Publishes Customized Major Accident Prevention Guide for SMEs
The Korea Employers Federation's Comprehensive Response Center for Serious Accidents published a practical guidebook on the 16th for small and medium-sized enterprises to refer to in the field. The booklet includes an overview of the Serious Accident Punishment Act, a workplace self-diagnosis checklist, and 10 key points necessary for preventing serious accidents. The self-diagnosis checklist helps gauge the level of legal compliance and provides specific reference items to correct deficiencies. The appendix contains 37 types of document templates and cases by article that field practitioners can immediately apply. Lim Woo-taek, head of the KEF Comprehensive Response Center for Serious Accidents, stated, "Since it is difficult to secure safety management infrastructure and professional personnel compared to large corporations, a manual that can be practically referenced in the field is necessary."
