"Political Level Lower Compared to Other Fields"
"President Yoon Seok-yeol Is Doing His Best"
Former President Lee Myung-bak said on the 10th, "With global affairs unstable and inter-Korean relations uncertain, I hope the people will unite and make wise judgments."
While participating in voting for the 22nd general election, the former president said, "Korean politics does not match the overall level of Korea. Other sectors have joined the ranks of advanced countries, but the political field is too ideological." He visited the Nonhyeon 1-dong 3rd polling station located in the basement level 1 of the Seoul Southern Regional Headquarters of the National Pension Service in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, together with his wife Kim Yoon-ok. It is near their residence in Nonhyeon-dong.
Dressed in a black suit, former President Lee took the elevator down and cast his vote together with Mrs. Kim. When asked to evaluate the Yoon Seok-youl administration, he said, "I cannot definitively say they are doing well, but I believe they are doing their best," adding, "Any government finds it very difficult to work if the legislature does not cooperate."
